Day 3: A favorite book

Again, hard to choose a favorite. I have a ridiculous amount of books that I love.
But this has been one of my favorites ever since I first read it... a long time ago.

Sigmund Brouwer is definitely on my top... three?...favorite authors. He is a Christian, and incorporates his faith into his novels, even though they aren't "Christian fiction". He also is not preachy, which I appreciate. He has some pretty awesome thrillers, science fiction, and an amazing western series, but this one was his very first book I read. When I read it again after loving it several years ago, I didn't like his writing style quite as much... I think some of his other books are written much better, but the PLOT. It's amazing.

Everyone should read this book. It is available (only used) at Amazon here. Many of his books are out of print, which is really dumb, because they aren't even old. >:-(

  6. I'm back again! :) I don't know if you ever heard of Paperback Swap, but I wanted to tell you about it. It's a HUGE, free! an online "book community" where you trade books you no longer want for books that you do! :) I've had great success with it. I've mailed 13 books, received 3 and have several more on the way to me! Yay! So I just on there, and saw that they have a bunch of Sigmund Brouwer's books on there. Here is the link!
