new lens.


It was getting to be about that time, so, I bought this beautiful lens. A WHOLE NEW WORLD, PEOPLE. I have been waiting for this for my whole life. Bethany's beautiful friend Rachel (all the way from Alaska) is visiting, and they made good guinea pigs.




Bokeh is my socially awkward passion--so my lens kind of makes me ridiculously happy.

Me: OHH DA BOKEH
Bethany: I don't understand why this excites you so much.




















Also, Miwaza has been here (from Japan!), which is awesome, inspiring, encouraging, and all other things fantastic. We nerd out about photography and she teaches me lots of cool things and she's amazing.






We're off to Family Camp this next week. YES. ♥

    eeek! this pictures are b-e-a-u-tiful! oh, aren't prime lenses just the best? oh me and you both girl, it's all about da bokeh. bethany & rachel are simply gorgeous. the end.

    New lens? You rock like crazy! Your pictures are always gorgeous, and the ones you just took are really beautiful. And bokeh is my camera's undying love and perpetual joy.

    Oh, hey -- I'm just a liiiittle bit jealous of your new lens. ;)

    I about died when I saw the depth of field and bokeh. So, so, SO beautiful! I mean, your photos always are gorgeous -- but especially with the 50mm/1.4. My 50mm/1.8 is currently on back order and I am so eager as to when it will arive. Eeek!

    You'll have to keep us all updated!

    Their eyes are so pretty <3 I geek out about eyes :) Have you ever done the eye brightening effect on Picmonkey.com? It does a world of good :D

    Doesn't a new lens make a world of difference? I dont have the 50mm f/1.4, but I have the 50mm f/1.8 it is my absolute fave!!!!

    These are so beautiful! And don't worry, I have a weird obsession with bokeh too, that my mom and sister don't understand at all... So I'm pretty happy to find someone who shares my liking :)
