This dress is on sale at Metrostyle, and I want to buy it really bad.
The end.
Have an amazing Memorial Day.

If I Were A...

If I were a gemstone I would be blue topaz.

If I were a scent I would be L'Occitane Cherry Blossom.

If I were a candy I would be Skittles.

If I were a shoe, I would be shiny red peep-toe heels.

If I were a car, I would be a Volkswagon Beetle.

If I were a facial expression, I would be a smile.

If I were the weather, I would be a spring day in Oregon.

If I were a day of the week, I would be Saturday.

If I were a drink, I would be iced tea.

If I were a time of day, I would be midnight.

If I were a sea animal, I would be a dolphin.

If I were a flower, I would be a red poppy.

If I were a color, I would be red.

If I were a food, I'd be a donut.

If I were a musical instrument I would be a violin.

If I were a fruit I would be a strawberry.

If I were a sound, I'd be a laugh.

If I were a pattern I'd be polka dots.

If I were an animal, I'd be a cat.

I do realize I just did a post with way too many photos of these scrumptious little kiddos.

I'm sorry.

My brother took these two photos of his daughter.

I like this better in color.. but there was this really annoying orange flower. SO yeah.

I realize this is not a good photo.
It just makes me happy.

Anthropologie is a very unique online clothing store that I have been poking around on, and I found some adorable stuff to show you. :-) I like a lot of their style... it is rather unusual, but definitely stylish. They have some lovely colors (see orange cardigan later on--swoon), and some really nice neutrals. Like most places I like, it is spendy. But it's fun to look at!

They have a lot of flowy, jersey-type knits with floral detailing and draping that I love.

This tanktop would be lovely with a brown shrug...

This green top is a very unusual cut, but I think it is lovely.
(It would be monstrously indecent on me, though.)

Pink. So lovely

This ruffly skirt. I love it.

I saw a top similar to this in the Coldwater Creek magazine and coveted it tremdously.
Something about the abtract-ish water-color-ish-ness.

I apologize if any one is sick and tired of these really long posts full of pictures. But I have an obsession.

I just finished watching "Mulan" for the second time. I love it.

I always thought that it would be lame because of the girl fighting and all, but then I watched it... And it seems like the message is more that she was able to do great things, but she realizes that she does not belong trying to do what guys do, so she goes back home, and back to being a girl, and accomplishes even greater things by just being a brave girl.

I love her clothing. Although the sleeves pictured above don't seem too practical...

Mushu is awesome!

And unlike most Disney heroes who just  flirt outrageously with princesses at wishing wells, send their doddering dukes to do all their dirty work, and then show up randomly to smooch the gal and then ride off into the sunset...*

Shang is actually a character, since he is in almost all of the movie, and he is really cool! I wouldn't have minded if they had ridden off into the sunset.

This photo is actually from "Mulan II" when he proposes.

Have you seen it? What was your interpretation of the overall message? If you haven't seen it, you should!

*My disappointment in Disney males is second only to my hatred of superheroes' girlfriends. Maybe I'll devote a post to that another day.

Baby Fashion Part II

As promised, here are photos of my adorable nieces, Katie and Ruby, modelling beauteous baby clothing throughout their lives. (They are both just over 1 year now).
Basically all of the clothing is Carter's.

This is Katie.

This is Ruby.

Here they are together, earlier in life.

Carter's lady bugs!

Despite the extreme cuteness of baby clothes....

There isn't anything cuter than a naked baby.

Especially one with these eyes!

I love this type of hat for babies!

Cowgirl Carter's. *swoon*

Adorable Katie in orange... trying to drink the closed bottle of apple cider...

Ruby with cute clothes and an... odd expression.
Her outfit reminds me of a pumpkin.

Original baby fashion! My sister (Katie's mom) made this for her.

Katie with rag curlers and adorable jammies.

And just in case you haven't laughed yet today...

I give you this photo.
